Randstad Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a permanent position with a key client in the Raleigh Durham area. This a great opportunity to join a fast paced, cutting edge technology firm.


This individual will work with customers to resolve technical issues with a complex software product and provide "how to" training sessions in its installation and operation.

The client will provide full training for the right candidates and will help them develop strong expertise to enable them to best assist their customer base.

Skills and experience

2 - 5 years of experience as System Administrator/Technical Support Representative and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Previous customer service experience

Basic knowledge in two or more of the following areas:

Microsoft environments (AD, Exchange, Windows servers, etc.)

Networking (TCP / IP, routing, firewalls)

Databases (MSSQL preferred)

Web servers and applications

Storage devices (NetApp, EMC)

Excellent interpersonal skills

Outstanding customer service skills
