Special Tactics Planning and Exercise Assault Specialist (PLEX Expert) (Fort Bragg, NC)

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *Serve as a Special Tactics planning and exercise SME in COA and CONOP development and subsequent training. Assist in the planning, development, and oversight of training/exercise programs that support real world operational rehearsals.


B.S degree desired.


SME level knowledge (Minimum 15 years experience) of worldwide AFSOC Special Tactics TTPs and support and employment mission requirements. Must be able to assist and have complete working knowledge in Drop Zone Control and Land Zone Control duties for military and civilian aircraft ISO exercises and air operations missions IAW AFI 13-217. Must be able to work around and employ demolitions to include breaching, all small and large arms to include 40mm, .50 Cal and anti-tank rounds, pyrotechnics and simunitions. Observe, demonstrate and participate in following training operations: Close Quarters Combat, urban and rural assault training operations, small unit tactics, low visibility operations and tradecraft, PSD, and Combat Life Saver Training. Required to operate military and civilian radio systems. Perform duties as Range Safety Officer. Must be familiar with Calls for Fire and how to control direct and indirect fires from ground weapons systems and understand how to operate Small UAS. Must have complete working knowledge of live-fire and simulation-fire safety standards. Instruct and guide civilian and military role players in support of training exercises and conduct all training exercise support evaluation walk-throughs for integrated live fire scenarios.

TRAVEL: CONUS/OCONUS travel to support exercise planning/execution events is required.

CLEARANCE: Prior to start date, a level of government security clearance is required for this position with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal.
