The Operations Manager will serve as the contact for issues involving the coordination of Information Operations.

Requires 100% OCONUS travel.

*Duties & Responsibilities: *

  • Establish and maintain relationships with designated outside organizations

  • Provide assistance to outside organizations

  • Communicate and coordinate on matters pertaining to IO

  • Maintain awareness of current and changing IO related plans, policies, guidance, doctrine, operations, funding, tactics, technological developments, and assessments

  • Prepare position papers, background briefs, assessments, fact sheets, interagency agreements, and memorandums of understanding and agreement for Government review and approval

  • Communicate guidance to the designated organizations to ensure proper coordination and compliance with policy

  • Recommend coordination priorities

  • Develop concepts of coordination for IO Annexes for Campaign Plans, Operation Orders, and Contingency Plans

  • Assist in the development of concepts of operation (CONOPs)

  • Prepare reports, presentations and plans required for periodic updates

  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. * *

*Minimum Qualifications: *

  • 10 years of experience in IO with duties including Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational full spectrum planning experience

  • 5 years of experience coordination operations between AORs for the DOD

  • 3 years of experience coordinating operations with DOD

  • 3 years of experience coordinating operations between multiple U.S. Government Agencies and Departments

  • 3 years of experience coordinating operations with task forces

  • 3 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include preparation of written products for senior leader use (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level or HQ equivalent)

  • 3 years of experience working with a Combatant Command (COCOM), Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) or equivalent level staff with duties including providing analyses, recommendations, and draft products to assist in the development of information papers, planning orders, Operational orders, analyses, estimates, and briefings for Command leadership and primary staff

  • 3 years of experience with duties involving the planning, coordination and de-confliction of DOD plans, operations, actions and activities* *
