Support for daily deployment maintenance and help with issue triage
Troubleshoot and support complex and critical operational applications
Support and enhance operational tooling
Develop and leverage test automation in support of deployments and operational best practices
Opportunity to influence direction for organizational and company operational strategy
Prioritize work to resolve complex technical issues in support of mission critical infrastructure technologies
Demonstrating a pattern of continuous learning by researching new technologies and software products
Assist with special projects and technologies, as assigned.
Serve as subject matter expert to development and testing teams on infrastructure and operational tooling
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with Linux server applications and infrastructure in a technologically diverse IT environment.
Experience with Git
Experience with build management tools such as Gradle or Maven
Experience developing operational tooling using scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Passion for continuous learning and mastering computer-related technologies.
Must be a proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented, independent worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to write clear and concise project documents, process and operational documentation.
Adept at working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with Operational Virtualization technologies such as Containers, AWS, or OpenStack
Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Packer, or Terraform
Demonstrates architectural ability in visualizing and expressing how to construct continuous delivery pipelines
Ability to collaborate with other teams to find and construct innovative, workable solutions to DevOps challenges
Knowledge of Kerberos or other authentication techniques for Linux
