Verizon Junior Sales Operations Analyst in Cary, North Carolina

What you’ll be doing...

The Analyst Enterprise Sales Operations position will be responsible for supporting operations programs within the Verizon Enterprise Solution’s (VES) sales organization. The key strategic priorities are maximizing revenue growth through the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of sales, marketing and service programs and initiatives. The candidate will be instrumental in supporting the operational readiness and business imperatives to exceed objectives within the organization. They must be able to support process improvements in reporting, analytics, and performance metrics. They will provide assistance to programs and retention strategies for maximum customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Perform effective analysis of sales trends and performance in an effort to identify greater efficiencies.

  • Support comprehensive Salesforce funnel reporting tools tracking opportunities from lead generation to revenue realization, account development and retention.

  • Run business impacting models for the management and measurement of applicable training programs, Marketing launches, and Business Initiatives and execution.

  • Partner on all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to programs and strategic sales plans.

  • Create and maintain critical KPIs and reporting, support sales alignment change process, sales territory management, and research / escalation around sales compensation issues.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance related major or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • One or more years of sales, finance, and / or operations experience, preferably customer-facing experience.

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, in addition to experience participating on cross-functional projects successfully and with attention to detail.

  • Organizational and project management skills.

  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.

  • Strong analytical skills with successful experience in securing and analyzing large volumes of data to make recommendations to achieve.

  • Proficiency in use of Excel and PowerPoint; Access.

  • Ability to communicate knowledge and expertise to provide insight and direction.

  • Self-motivated, resilient, can-do attitude to overcome obstacles and find resolution in sometimes difficult situations.
